Overview
Nexium Control 20mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) specifically designed to support the management of acid reflux, heartburn, gastro-intestinal discomfort, and related symptoms in adults aged 18 and over. It contains the active ingredient esomeprazole 20mg, which works by blocking the production of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in the stomach.
Nexium Control 20mg contains the active ingredient omeprazole 20mg, which works by reducing stomach acid levels to prevent acid from entering the esophagus and causing ulcers and bleeding in the stomach. This allows for a more convenient and effective management of acid reflux, gastro-intestinal discomfort, and related symptoms.

Esomeprazole 20mg is used by doctors to reduce acid production in the body and help treat reflux (gastric ulcers) and gastro-intestinal discomfort (gastric discomfort) in adults. The active ingredient in esomeprazole 20mg, esomeprazole, works by inhibiting the proton pump, which is responsible for the production of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) in the stomach.
Nexium 24HR is used to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease associated with acid reflux. It is also used to relieve stomach pain and acid reflux as an adjunct to surgery. Nexium 24HR works by blocking the absorption of acid in the stomach.

In short: there’s no single answer to the question of how much acid your heart will use over the course of the rest of your life.
For decades, doctors have been treating heartburn with an acid-reflux-reducing agent, Nexium. Now, researchers have developed a new option for heartburn sufferers, known as esomeprazole, that combines the drug with an acid-suppressing agent, Pepcid ACR-60.
“Pepcid ACR-60 is a good choice for those looking to save money on theirburn treatments,” says lead study author Dr. Benjamin Franklin, M. D., from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. “It is a relatively inexpensive agent, which can be taken once daily for 14 to 20 days.”
Esomeprazole is the brand name for Pepcid ACR-60, the extended-release version of the drug designed to reduce stomach acid by inhibiting the enzyme that breaks down stomach acid. It is also used to treat GERD, a chronic condition in which the stomach produces acid that is necessary for heartburn to be preserved.
“The best choice for long-term treatment is a prescription,” says Franklin. “If you need a prescription for a long-term treatment, you can visit a pharmacy or.”
As a result, over half of all heartburn sufferers are using this drug as a long-term treatment, Franklin notes. But the decision to use Pepcid ACR-60 as a long-term treatment is not without risks and misconceptions.
One of the biggest disfranchisons for heartburn sufferers is the potential for side effects, he says. The drug can cause stomach bleeding, and patients taking it with antacids and heartburn medications should check with their doctor before starting treatment. Side effects also increase with prolonged use, he adds.
Another consideration for patients who take Pepcid ACR-60 is the possibility for increased risk of allergic reactions, such as anaphylaxis or hives.
Another misconception is that the drug is meant to treat only reflux symptoms, Franklin notes. “The acid in the stomach is not the source of reflux symptoms, but the source of reflux symptoms.”
A third misconception is that the drug is meant to help patients who have heartburn with acid reflux symptoms. “The acid in the stomach is not the source of heartburn symptoms, but the source of heartburn symptoms,” Franklin says.
In fact, Franklin says, people who take the drug have been warned to avoid acid-stabilizing medications that can trigger heartburn, such as omeprazole, omeprazole and esomeprazole.
“There is no scientific evidence that over-the-counter, over-the-counter use of an acid-stabilizing agent like Pepcid ACR-60 causes heartburn symptoms,” he explains. “However, there are some reports that it may cause some serious side effects. For example, if a patient takes the drug for more than four weeks, they should seek medical attention immediately.”
While Franklin says it’s important to note that the risk of heartburn is greatest for those who take Pepcid ACR-60 for long periods, it’s not clear how much acid the drug will take to work in the absence of heartburn symptoms. “The longer a patient takes the drug, the higher their heartburn symptoms.”
To minimize the risk of side effects, Franklin recommends taking the drug at the same time each day for 14 to 20 days. “If you are using this medication, you should check with your doctor to determine if it is safe for you to take this drug and then,” he adds.
Another misconception is that the drug will stop heartburn in the same way as a heartburn medication. “The drug will stop the acid from building up in the stomach,” Franklin says.
One of the most common side effects that patients take the drug for is stomach bleeding, but there is no evidence that the drug will cause heartburn in the absence of heartburn symptoms. In fact, the drug may do more than just reduce stomach acid. “It can also slow the healing process,” Franklin says.
In addition, patients should also consult their doctor before taking a medication that also lowers stomach acid, as there is no evidence that this drug will cause heartburn in the absence of stomach acid-stabilizing medication.
When you have a stomach issue, you can try NEXIUM (esomeprazole) 24hr (Rx) or Nexium 24hr (Rx). Both are taken as needed to help you feel full. Nexium 24hr works best if you take it in the morning, while Nexium 2 can be taken at night or early in the morning. You can take Nexium 24hr or 2 at the same time, depending on the dose you’re being taken for. It’s important to take Nexium 24hr as needed for stomach issues, so you don’t feel the need to rush to take it. Nexium 24hr can help with some of the things you may experience with stomach problems, such as bloating, gas and constipation. Nexium 24hr is a good alternative for people who may be unable to take a 24hr dose of this drug. It’s also a good option for people who don’t want to take a daily dose of Nexium 24hr. It’s important to note that Nexium 24hr isn’t a cure for stomach problems, so you may still experience the symptoms. You can take Nexium 24hr if your doctor recommends it. But don’t take Nexium 24hr if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. This is because taking Nexium 24hr may cause problems in the unborn baby. The FDA says that if you get pregnant or think you might be pregnant, contact your doctor right away. The dose of Nexium 24hr is typically taken once per day, although you can take it up to three times a day. Nexium 24hr is a good option for people who want to take a daily dose of a 24hr drug like Prilosec and Prilosec ER, which is also used to treat people with a stomach disorder called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
Here’s a closer look at Nexium 24hr and how it works.
